Medical cannabis: what is it all about?
Cannabis for therapeutic use concerns its use for medical purposes, thanks to some components contained within the inflorescences of Cannabis, also known as hemp. Marijuana is obtained from these dried inflorescences, which has a psychoactive action; it is considered a "narcotic" and used for pleasure purposes. For therapeutic purposes, however, only some molecules are used, appropriately chosen by the doctor and prepared by an expert pharmacist. These components of Cannabis bind to specific receptors in the body and it is this link that triggers the effects that are exploited in medicine
