The surgeon advises: breast
Written by:Every woman has the right to have a beautiful breast, the size that best suits her body. When Mother Nature or any modifications (caused by lactations, weight changes or the passing of years) do not satisfy this part of her body, she can be used for Plastic Surgery. The professor. Antonio Ottaviani, a specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery , explains how to improve breast shape and volume.
1) How does Plastic Surgery help a woman who is not happy with her breast?
Surgery can intervene to modify and improve breast in all cases where it is necessary to increase or decrease the volume or even modify the shape.
Of course, we talk of very different interventions, which offer totally different healing results.
In most cases, the sensitivity of the isolo-mammillary complex and the functionality of the breast gland are not altered.
2) What are the most requested breast interventions?
One of the most popular interventions is breast augmentation, which consists of breast enlargement with the use of anatomic or round prostheses, placed under or over muscular position as appropriate.
Very large breasts, on the other hand, require reductive mastoplasty, which involves a reduction in breast tissue and excess skin with breast remodeling.
Remodeling with exuberant skin elimination, in the case of falling teeth (breast ptosis), is indicated in the mastopexy.
As for the morphological alteration known as tuberous breast, the breast must be remodeled with targeted intervention that sometimes also requires the use of prostheses.
3) What is the age of the patients who are approaching you for breastfeeding?
Patients requiring breast augmentation are ages ranging from 15 to 16 years (usually since they have completed their development) until the most advanced age, but generally not older than 70-80 years.
It is not possible to determine the average age of the patients who come to my observation, since the age varies greatly according to the type of intervention required. For example, as it is easy to understand, younger patients require a tumor, while progressing with age is more frequently claimed by a mastopexy or a reduction.
4) How does body perception change in the woman who has been breastfeeding?
Certainly, for a woman who has undergone an intervention that has improved the appearance of her breasts, the perception of her body changes substantially because she is particularly concerned about her femininity.
5) Can the surgeon say "no" to an intervention?
The surgeon should always guide the patient and advise her to subside the surgical path that gives her the most natural and best fit for her body: in a word, make the right choice. As far as possible, it is advisable not to exaggerate exaggerated breast enlargement because, in addition to being unnatural, over time they can cause relaxation and falling snout.
