Atherosclerosis

Arteriosclerosis or atherosclerosis is the most common among artery disease and consists in plaque formation in the blood vessels through which oxygen and nutrients pass. Usually, arteriosclerosis does not manifest symptoms until an artery is reduced significantly or completely, or when the blood flow in a part of the body slows or freezes. There are several factors known to affect atherosclerosis: pathologies such as cholesterol or high blood pressure, sex-related, hereditary and ethnic factors, smoking, sedentary lifestyle, nervous tension, and so on. You can prevent arteriosclerosis with a proper lifestyle.
