Prof. Antonio Secchi graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan, subsequently specializing in Physiopathology and Respiratory Physiokinesitherapy and in Diabetology and Diseases. He is Director of the Transplant Strategic Research Program of the San Raffaele Institute of Milan, and is Full Professor of Internal Medicine at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan), as well as Director of the School of Specialization in Internal Medicine and Medicine of Emergency Urgency. She is currently Head of the Internal Medicine and Transplantation Unit at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. He is a reviewer of several scientific journals and author of numerous publications, in particular on diabetes treatment and pancreatic islet transplantation.
