Prof. Giandomenico Logroscino is a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology.

He mainly deals with hip prosthesis, shoulder prosthesis, hip arthroscopy, shoulder fracture, femur fracture, hip prosthetic bone infection and minimally invasive hip surgery.
In 1998 he obtained the Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome and in the following years he carried out internships at prestigious foreign centers such as the Center de Traumatologie et d'Orthopedie de Strasbourg in France and la Klinik und Polikilik fur Unfallchirurgie, Jhonnaes Guttenberg-Universitat Mainz Klinikum in Germany.

During his experience of clinical activity, Prof. Logroscino has performed over 2000 surgical procedures as the first trauma and orthopedic operator, especially in the field of hip and shoulder prostheses and traumatology.

He currently holds the position of Associate Professor in Diseases of the Locomotor Apparatus at the University of L'Aquila and Medical Director of the Operative Unit of Orthopedic Mininvasive Surgery and Computer Assisted at the Regional Hospital San Salvatore dell'Aquila as well as being Professor at the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology of the University of L'Aquila. He is the author of scientific publications published in national and international press and boasts the participation in congresses and seminars in Italy and abroad.
